Today I have been thinking of how different children are from each other. My two children are alike in some ways, mostly their intense stubbornness, but for the most part, they are completely different! It just amazes me how each child comes to us already totally unique from any other person in the world. A lot of people believe that children are born as blank slates and are just clay to be molded by their parents. I cannot disagree more with that belief. Oh, don't get me wrong, I do believe parents have a strong and lasting impression on their children, but I do not believe we "create" their inherent personalities. I believe each person has a soul and that soul is who they are. Before, now, and forever. And I love getting to be a part of my children's journey in finding that.
She hated it from the moment we set her in it and wanted nothing to do with it unless daddy was holding her and going super slow.
This one has loved swinging from the very beginning and he keeps hollering, "Faster, higher Mom!"
Sad Annabelle! :( That's the worst---when you're excited to introduce your kid to something you know is fun, and they hate it.
